Freshtel is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) company with a combination of 50+ years in the Telecommunications industry ,located at Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. The core business of Freshtel is to provide broadband from residential to service condominium and business broadband to commercial.

Situations:

Freshtel Group, a company that swirling in the overwhelming of demands and yet adapted an traditional and inefficient way in storing their data - using excel as their database. This causes an enormous workload to the staffs in managing the historical data as the spreadsheet aren’t designed to store historical data ,this makes its hard or impossible to spot trends over time and compare data across longer time horizons.Difficulties faced by Freshtel Group are listed as below:

  • Difficulties in managing,tracking and analyzing data that stored in Excel ,important data is hiding.
  • Difficulties in managing user’s billing.

Solutions:

We implemented an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system which will greatly help in improving and intensify the management in their account and customer billing.Hence, we developed an auto billing system that will automized the billing process where all of their customer’s bill statement will be sent monthly hassle-freely.Some additional features was added to enhance the system:

  • Accounting module : Several distinctive features was developed such as Asset management, Analytical Accounting to dispense the accounting module and yet to smoothen and simplify each business transactions, providing a clearer vision of the company’s financial position .
  • Project management module: Project management module is implemented to Freshtel Group system to enable the analyze of time plans, budgets and to control invoicing and to manage different contracts.
